What if Superman was a dick?
He was still raised by a couple of country folk in a small town and was played off to be a regular boy instead of an alien with superpowers.. All that same stuff, but was just a dickhead? 

That's the premise of Brightburn, and it could have been so much more than it was because that is literally all this movie covers.
